While Joli Candles main focus on sculptural candles is for home decor, if you decide to burn your candle for a special occasion, please ensure that any dripping wax is caught, place your sculptural candle on a dish or candle plate before lighting it. Always ensure that burning candles are not left unattended, and be sure to extinguish them before going to bed or leaving the room. For safety, use a candle snuffer if available to prevent hot wax from splattering. To maintain safety, stop burning a candle when there is ¼ inch of wax left in the vessel. Keep candles away from flammable materials and never burn them on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. For ongoing use, store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent discoloration. Before relighting, trim the wick ¼ inch from the surface of the wax for a consistent smoke-free flame. To ensure optimal burning, burn your candle for no longer than 3 hours at a time. WARNING: Neglecting to adhere to these guidelines may result in incorrect burn time, heat damage, accidents, and fire hazards.
